Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena (4/19)

Welcome to Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena. Check out what caught our attention this past week and what we’re looking forward to…

Elena: Firstly, I’d like to start by wishing Happy Easter to all those who celebrate it. May it be a day full of love and hope.

This has been another great week in the book world. J. A. Redmerski announced the title of her new book: her new novel it’s called THE MOMENT OF LETTING GO. You can can already add it on your TBR shelf on Goodreads, where you can also find a temporary blurb. I don’t know about you, but I’m super excited about this book!

Tamie: The synopsis for The Moment of Letting Go definitely has me interested too, and J.A. Redmerski is one of my faves, so I’m really looking forward to it…and yes…I added it to my want to read list on Goodreads :)

Elena: Also, Confessions After Dark by Kahlen Aymes was released and you can purchase it on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I’ll be reviewing it this book for the blog tour, but make sure to check it out! The second installment of the Dark Series is as addictive as the first one was.

Tamie: This was a great week for cover reveals too. We shared in those from Emma Chase for TIED,  Katy Evans for RIPPED, and today we shared two more. HARD TO HOLD ON TO by Laura Kaye, and  Happenstance by Jamie McGuire. We’ll be participating in an exclusive cover reveal on the 28th with one other blog, and I’ll share more info on that next week.

Elena: We all love it when great books get brought on screen, don’t we? This week, the first clip from “The Fault in Our Stars”, based on the bestselling novel by John Green, was revealed. You can watch it here.

Also another movie from another amazing book will hit theatres soon — Yes, I’m talking about If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I read the book a couple of years ago, and I have to say that it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read, and I’m so happy that the movie is coming out soon. It will hit theatres August 22nd. If you haven’t picked the novel up yet, I highly suggest you do it, before the movie comes out. The trailer was shown this week and you can watch it here. I admit I cried when I wantched it, and it brought back memories of all the emotions I felt while reading. A book that makes you think on so many levels. I can’t wait for this movie.

Tamie: I read Fall from India Place by Samantha Young this week, and no surprise…I loved it. It’s fairly angsty but I survived it. I’m such an angst wussy. Samantha is such a great storyteller, and the book boyfriends she gives us are always amazing. Marco is no different. It’s available for pre-order here. I also read Castle Hill which is an absolute must read for any and all who loved On Dublin Street. It’s a Joss and Braden novella and it’s excellent. Lastly, I just finished White Trash Beautiful by Teresa Mummert. It was the first book I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. I’ll be starting the 2nd book White Trash Damaged soon. The 3rd book in the series is called A Song for Us and it’s releasing next Tuesday on the 22nd. You can pre-order it here.
